The GHS is an acronym for The Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals. The GHS is a system for standardizing and harmonizing the classification and labelling of chemicals. Chemicals are associated with codes that define their health, physical and environmental hazards. This universal hazard communication system was developed to ensure that employers, employees and consumers are provided with adequate, practical, reliable and comprehensible information on the hazards of chemicals, so that they can take effective preventive and protective measure for their own health and safety.
Advanced
The GHS classifications for chemicals associated with products in this database may be viewed by selecting the "Advanced" button on the Chemical Ingredients tables. Since this is a work in progress, GHS classifications may not be shown for all chemical ingredients.-

There are 4 categories of Hazard Codes:
- Physical Hazard Codes (H200 series)
- Health Hazard Codes (H300 series)
- Environmental Hazard Codes (H400 series)
- Supplementary Hazard Codes (EUH series)

SVHC are defined in Article 57 of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (“the REACH Regulation”) and include substances which are:
SVHC?
1. Carcinogenic, Mutagenic or toxic to Reproduction (CMR), meeting the criteria for classification in category 1 or 2 in accordance with Directive 67/548/EEC or in category 1a or 1b in accordance with EC No 1272/2008This directive was recently replaced by the new EU regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
2. Persistent, Bioaccumulative and Toxic (PBT) or very Persistent and very Bioaccumulative (vPvB) according to the criteria in Annex XIII of the REACH Regulation, or
3. Identified, on a case-by-case basis, from scientific evidence as causing probable serious effects to human health or the environment of an equivalent level of concern as those above (e.g. endocrine disrupters).SD Alcohol 38B 000064-17-5 200-578-6 <60 H225, H319 P210, P233, P240, P241, P242, P243, P264, P280, P303+P361+P353, P370+P378, P305+P351+P338, P337+P313, P403+P235, P501 No Kelp extract 092128-82-0 295-780-4 -- -------- ------- ---- No Aloe extract 084837-08-1 284-293-2 -- -------- ------- ---- No Panthenol 000081-13-0 201-327-3 -- -------- ------- ---- No Keratin, hydrolyzed 069430-36-0 274-001-1 -- -------- ------- ---- No Aminoethylpropanol 000124-68-5 204-709-8 -- H315, H319, H412 ------- No Benzophenone-4 004065-45-6 223-772-2 -- -------- ------- ---- No Dimethicone copolyol 064365-23-7 -- -- -------- ------- ---- No Polyquaternium-11 053633-54-8 - -- -------- ------- ---- Yes Glucose glutamate 113114-16-2 -- -- -------- ------- ---- No Isopropanol 000067-63-0 200-661-7 -- H225, H319, H336 P102, P210, P233, P241, P242, P243, P261, P264, P271, P280, P405, P501, P303+P361+P353, P370+P378, P337+P313, P305+P351+P338, P304+P340, P312, P403+P233, P403+P235 No Fragrance(s)/perfume(s) 000000-00-1 -- -- -------- ------- ---- No Ethyl ester of PVM/MA copolymer 067724-93-0 -- -- -------- ------- ---- No Click on each chemical for information on chemical structure, properties and health effects.

Acute health effects
From MSDS Effects of Single Acute Overexposure: Inhalation: High vapor concentrations may cause a burning sensation in the nose and throat, and stinging and watering in the eyes. At concentrations which cause irritation, dizziness, drowsiness, nausea, and vomiting may also occur. Eye Contact: May cause irritation, experienced as stinging with excess blinking and tear production. Excess redness of the conjunctiva may occur. Skin Contact: No evidence of harmful effects from available information. Skin Absorption: No harmful effects with normal skin. However, potentially harmful amounts of material may be absorbed across markedly damaged skin when contact is sustained, particularly with children. Ingestion: May cause dizziness, faintness, drowsiness, decreased awareness and responsiveness, abdominal discomfort, nausea and vomiting. Other Effects of Overexposure: None if used as directed. -
Chronic health effects
From MSDS Effects of Repeated Overexposure: Long term repeated oral exposure may result in the development of progressive liver with fibrosis because of denatured ethanol in product. -
Carcinogenicity
From MSDS No information provided. -
Handling information
From MSDS General Handling: Keep away from heat, sparks and flame. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep container closed. Use with adequate ventilation. If prolonged spraying or other prolonged usage is expected. Vapor forms from this product and may travel or be moved by air currents and ignited by pilot lights, other flames, smoking, sparks, heaters, electrical equipment, static discharges or other ignition sources at locations distant from product handling point and may flashback explosively particularly when handling large bulk quantities. Other Precautions: Contains ingredients which render this product totally unfit for beverage purposes. If taken internally, will cause serious damage to health. Vapor may settle in low or confined areas, or travel a long distance to an ignition source and flash back explosively. Storage: Avoid excessive heat. -
Disposal information
From MSDS Incinerate in a furnace where permitted under Federal, State, and local regulations. Dispose in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, Provincial, and local environmental regulations. Empty containers should be recycled or disposed of through an approved waste management facility. -
First Aid
From MSDS INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. Give artificial respiration if breathing is difficult, oxygen may be given by qualified personnel. Obtain medical attention. EYE CONTACT: Immediately flush eyes with water and continue washing for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if worn. Obtain medical attention if discomfort persists. SKIN CONTACT: Wash skin with soap and water. SWALLOWING: If patient is fully conscious, give two glasses of water, induce vomiting. This should be done only by a medical or experienced first aid personnel. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious or convulsing person. Get medical attention.
