The GHS is a system for standardizing and harmonizing the classification and labelling of chemicals. Chemicals are associated with codes that define their health, physical and environmental hazards.This universal hazard communication system was developed to ensure that employers, employees and consumers are provided with adequate, practical, reliable and comprehensible information on the hazards of chemicals, so that they can take effective preventive and protective measure for their own health and safety.

  1.  Carcinogenic, Mutagenic or toxic to Reproduction (CMR), meeting the criteria for classification in category 1 or 2 in accordance with Directive 67/548/EEC or in category 1a or 1b in accordance with EC No 1272/2008This directive was recently replaced by the new EU regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.

In case of contact, flush with plenty of water. Wash with soap and water after use. Obtain medical attention if irritation persists. Avoid contamination of food or feed stuffs. Do not use in food areas of food handling establishments, restaurants, or other areas where food is commercially processed. Do not use in serving areas while food is exposed or facility is in operation. Serving areas are areas where prepared foods are served such as dining rooms, but excluding areas where food may be prepared or held. In the home, all food processing surfaces and utensils should be covered during treatment or thoroughly washed after use. Exposed food should be covered or removed. Non-food areas are areas such as garage rooms, lavatories, floor drains (to sewers), entries and vestibules, offices, locker rooms, machine rooms, boiler rooms, garages, mop closets, and storage (after canning or bottling). Not for use in USDA Meat and Poultry Plants. Remove pets, birds, and cover fish aquariums before spraying. This product contains a highly flammable ingredient. It may cause a fire or explosion if not used properly. Follow the Directions for Use on the label very carefully.

    • Handling information

      Store containers upright and closed. Store in areas that are cool, dry and well-ventilated. Store away from heat, ignition sources and strong oxidizers. Do not contaminate water, feed or food by storage, handling, application or disposal. Do not puncture or incinerate container. Do not direct spray towards face. Read and follow all precautions and instructions on the product label.

    • Disposal information

      Contaminated absorbent and wash water should be disposed of according to local, state and federal regulations.
