Eye Contact: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.
Skin Contact: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.
Inhalation: Remove affected person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably mouth-to-mouth if possible. Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice.
Ingestion: If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately. Do not induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth if victim is unconscious, or is convulsing.
Notes to Physician: Contains petroleum distillate - vomiting may cause aspiration pneumonia. For skin effects, a highly efficient therapeutic agent for pyrethroid exposure is topical application of tocopherol acetate (Vitamin E). Diazepam has been recommended to reduce the CNS effects of Esfenvalerate.
General Advice: Do not puncture or incinerate container. If you feel unwell, seek medical advice (show the label where possible). Ensure that medical personnel are aware of the material(s) involved, and take precautions to protect themselves. Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Keep out of reach of children
