Chemicals are associated with codes that define their health, physical and environmental hazards.This universal hazard communication system was developed to ensure that employers, employees and consumers are provided with adequate, practical, reliable and comprehensible information on the hazards of chemicals, so that they can take effective preventive and protective measure for their own health and safety.
  The GHS classifications for chemicals associated with products in this database may be viewed by selecting the "Advanced" button on the Chemical Ingredients tables. Since this is a work in progress, GHS classifications may not be shown for all chemical ingredients.

  SVHC is a substance (identified by the European Chemicals Agency) that may have serious and often irreversible effects on human health and the environment. SVHC are defined in Article 57 of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (“the REACH Regulation”) and include substances which are:
  1.  Carcinogenic, Mutagenic or toxic to Reproduction (CMR), meeting the criteria for classification in category 1 or 2 in accordance with Directive 67/548/EEC or in category 1a or 1b in accordance with EC No 1272/2008This directive was recently replaced by the new EU regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
  2.  Persistent, Bioaccumulative and Toxic (PBT) or very Persistent and very Bioaccumulative (vPvB) according to the criteria in Annex XIII of the REACH Regulation, or
  3.  Identified, on a case-by-case basis, from scientific evidence as causing probable serious effects to human health or the environment of an equivalent level of concern as those above (e.g. endocrine disrupters).

      For external use only.   Do not use near eyes, inside nose, mouth or vagina, on lice in eyebrows or eyelashes.   See doctor if lice are present in these areas. Ask a doctor before use if you are allergic to ragweed.  May cause breathing difficulty or an asthmatic attack.  When using this product keep eyes tightly closed and protect eyes with a washcloth or towel.  If product gets in eyes, flush with water right away.  Scalp itching or redness may occur.   Stop use and ask a doctor if breathing difficulty occurs, eye irritation occurs, skin or scalp irritation continues or infection occurs.  Keep out of reach of children.  If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
      Do not use more than 2 applications within 24 hours.

      EMERGENCY OVERVIEW
      Eye contact may cause irritation and redness. Ingestion of large quantities may cause gastric disturbances.
      PRECAUTION: This product has been formulated for external use and is regulated by the FDA as a drug.
      IMPORTANT: Read label instructions before use. Do not use near eyes. Avoid contact with nose and mouth. Keep out of reach of children! Under normal conditions of use this product is not a hazardous material as defined by the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200). However, the use pattern and exposure in the workplace are generally not consistent with those experienced by consumers. Therefore, the requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration applicable to this MSDS may contain additional health hazard information not pertinent to consumer use and not found on the product label.
      Potential Health Effects
      EYE: Eye contact may cause irritation and redness.
      SKIN CONTACT: Varying severities of irritation are possible from prolonged, repeated, or occluded exposure to skin.
      INGESTION: Ingested amounts may cause gastric disturbances.
      INHALATION: Inhalation may cause irritation to the upper respiratory tract. SUBCHRONIC

      Dispose of waste product in accordance with all government regulations. State and local regulations may differ from federal regulations. Be sure to consult with state and local agencies for specific rules.

    • First Aid

      Eyes: Immediately flush eyes with a directed stream of water for at least 15 minutes, forcibly holding eyelids apart to insure complete irrigation of all eye and lid tissues. IF IRRITATION PERSISTS GET MEDICAL ATTENTION.
      Skin: Remove contaminated clothing, including footwear. Wash contaminated areas thoroughly with soap and water. Wash clothing before reuse. Do not reuse footwear that is contaminated on the inner surfaces. GET MEDICAL ATTENTION IF IRRITATION DEVELOPS.
      Inhalation: Immediately move from area of exposure to fresh air. If breathing is difficult have a trained person administer oxygen. If breathing has stopped, have a trained person administer artificial respiration. GET MEDICAL ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY.
      Ingestion: NEVER GIVE ANYTHING BY MOUTH TO AN UNCONSCIOUS PERSON. If ingested, do not induce vomiting. If the patient is conscious and can swallow, first rinse out mouth and then give one or two glasses of water to drink. GET MEDICAL ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY.
