  The GHS is an acronym for The Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals. The GHS is a system for standardizing and harmonizing the classification and labelling of chemicals. Chemicals are associated with codes that define their health, physical and environmental hazards.This universal hazard communication system was developed to ensure that employers, employees and consumers are provided with adequate, practical, reliable and comprehensible information on the hazards of chemicals, so that they can take effective preventive and protective measure for their own health and safety.
  The GHS classifications for chemicals associated with products in this database may be viewed by selecting the "Advanced" button on the Chemical Ingredients tables. Since this is a work in progress, GHS classifications may not be shown for all chemical ingredients.

  SVHC is a substance (identified by the European Chemicals Agency) that may have serious and often irreversible effects on human health and the environment. SVHC are defined in Article 57 of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (“the REACH Regulation”) and include substances which are:
  1.  Carcinogenic, Mutagenic or toxic to Reproduction (CMR), meeting the criteria for classification in category 1 or 2 in accordance with Directive 67/548/EEC or in category 1a or 1b in accordance with EC No 1272/2008This directive was recently replaced by the new EU regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
  2.  Persistent, Bioaccumulative and Toxic (PBT) or very Persistent and very Bioaccumulative (vPvB) according to the criteria in Annex XIII of the REACH Regulation, or
  3.  Identified, on a case-by-case basis, from scientific evidence as causing probable serious effects to human health or the environment of an equivalent level of concern as those above (e.g. endocrine disrupters).

      Clear, uniformly smooth gel. Scented according to product label. No significant health or environmental concerns.
      Potential Health Effects
      EYE: May be slightly irritating, but will not cause injury. SKIN CONTACT: Not a skin irritant or contact sensitizer.
      INGESTION: Ingestion of small amounts (several grams) not likely to cause injury. Ingestion of large amounts may cause abdominal discomfort.
      INHALATION: Not a route of exposure under normal product use conditions. Vapors from heated product may cause upper respiratory irritation.

    • Handling information

      Wear appropriate personal protective equipment when handling bulk product. Store bulk material for rework in suitable containers with closures. Keep containers and cases closed and store product at room temperature. Avoid temperatures above 100 deg. F.

    • Disposal information

      Under conditions of normal consumer use, the product is intended for use-up. Single units can be disposed of in trash. Empty containers can be discarded or recycled where programs exist.

      EYES: Check for and remove contacts. Immediately flush eyes with clean flowing water, low pressure and lukewarm if possible, occasionally lifting upper and lower eyelids. Seek medical attention if irritation develops.
      SKIN: No first aid should be needed under normal handling conditions. It is good workplace practice to wash exposed areas thoroughly with soap or mild detergent and a large amount of water. If irritation occurs, avoid further contact. If contact with molten product burns skin, seek medical attention.
      INGESTION: If large amounts are ingested, seek medical attention. Never give anything orally to an unconscious person.
      INHALATION: If over-exposure occurs, remove person from area of exposure. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
